West End Yard (0300-0138) and Stores Building (aka "Building 10") Demolition (0301-0111)

This project includes: construction of six electrified storage tracks with toilet servicing facilities, yard access cart paths and roadways, a new breaker substation, facilities for car cleaners and inspectors including welfare and storage, 480 volt standby power substation, supporting utilities and yard lighting. The project also includes the demolition of Building 10, relocation of the yard power feeders currently located on a pole line between the Running Repair Shop and Building 10 into a subsurface duct bank, installation of a roadway in this area, a new yard entrance beneath the Church Street Overpass, reconstruction of Track 38, installation of catenary on Track 39 north of the Independent Wheel Truing Facility and demolition of existing and construction of new tracks and catenary in support of the future Service & Inspection Shop construction.
